How Breast Augmentation Affects Pregnancy
If you are planning on having children in the future, this does not necessarily prevent you from being a breast augmentation candidate, but many women prefer to wait until they are finished having children before undergoing surgery. The reason for this is two-fold:
- Pregnancy causes changes in breast size and volume, which can have a negative effect on breast augmentation results
- Breast augmentation can limit the ability to breastfeed in a small percentage of patients
