Q: How many grams will I need to be taken out of my breasts for breast reduction?
A: If the breast reduction is going through insurance, they will make a final decision on how many grams of breast tissue they will approve. Unfortunately, every insurance company varies on what they will cover. The most common factors that the insurance company will take into account include height/weight, BMI, what treatments have you trialed, does it affect your day-to-day activities, have you tried physical therapy, and your pre-operative photos.
