Number 10/10: Q: What will my skin look like after KYBELLA® injections? A: Initially the skin will be tight from the swelling. As the swelling decreases, the skin will begin to recoil and tighten. Number 9/10: Q: What will the area feel like after KYBELLA® injections? A: Majority of patients do not experience any significant symptoms after injection of KYBELLA®, aside from swelling in the area. Some patients report that the area feels tender or heavy, you may feel temporary areas or firmness (nodules), and some men will say it feels numb when shaving the days following injection. If that is the case, precautions should be taken when shaving the days following the injection to prevent cutting yourself.

Your appointment will be longer as there will be before photos, consent for KYBELLA®, and post-op instructions provided.

Number 5/10: Q: What do I need to do after my KYBELLA® injection? A: We recommend icing the area on and off throughout the day/evening of the injection if possible to aid in reducing the swelling. It is also recommended to avoid physical activity for 24-48 hours following the procedure, as it will likely increase your swelling.
