Patient 1

This is a 45 year old female who is 5 feet tall and weighed 145 pounds at the time of surgery. She was diagnosed with right breast ductal carcinoma in situ and elected for bilateral skin sparing mastectomies with placement of tissue expanders and ADM. Shortly after she then elected for bilateral removal of tissue expanders, capsulotomies with placement of DIEP flaps and phasix mesh to the abdomen. Unfortunately she developed a large area of fat necrosis involving majority of breast and elected for right excision of fat necrosis and removal of DIEP flap, placement diagonal upper gracilis myocutaneous free flap with ICG and left revision of reconstructed breast and right thigh plasty for symmetry following free flap harvest.
