Our most common surgical facial rejuvenation options include: eye lid surgery (blepharoplasty, both upper and lower), eye brow lift, face lift, neck lift, and autologous fat grafting to the face.

A blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) is a surgical procedure to remove excess skin at the lower and/or upper eyelids to restore a more youthful appearance. The natural process of aging results in laxity, excess skin, and overall lack of volume/firmness to the eyelids. This leads to the appearance of drooping (ptosis) of the eyelids, which can obstruct your vision, and ages the face.

Face lift or rhytidectomy is among the top five most common cosmetic surgical procedures performed in the United States.  Commonly, a neck lift is performed simultaneously with the goal to rejuvenate the facial appearance and profile.  As we age, the underlining facial muscles become lax and folds develop along the jaw (jowls), neck, and cheeks. A face lift will tighten the facial muscles, smooth the loose skin on your face and neck, and remove excess fat.

Autologous fat grafting to the face can be done in conjunction with a face lift or on its own. This process requires harvesting fat via liposuction (usually the abdomen), processing the fat, and injecting the processed fat into the face. This is a great option for those who want a more permanent “filler” to add volume and fill in undesirable folds of the face. Facial fat grafting is most often done for the marionette lines, nasolabial folds, the mid face, and the lips.

There are multiple options for surgical facial rejuvenation. During your consultation we can determine what procedure(s) you would be a candidate for to best optimize your results.  Give us a call at 904.262.3372 today to schedule a consultation, or you can contact us here.
