Surgical
Liposuction – In cases where signs of a double-chin are being caused by a more severe level of fat cells in the upper neck and chin area, liposuction may be a more ideal treatment. Although this is a surgical procedure, the incisions are typically quite small (less than 1 cm), and therefore any residual scarring is often rather inconspicuous. Neck Lift – A surgical neck lift may be necessary if the appearance of a double-chin is primarily due to excess skin rather than excess fat in the area.
