Background and education

Dr. Parks achieved his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Vanderbilt University. He earned his medical degree at Mercer University in Macon, GA before entering the general surgery training program at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. While training in general surgery, he became fascinated with diversity and possibilities in the discipline of plastic surgery and was offered the rare opportunity to matriculate directly into the three year plastic surgery program at the University of Tennessee.

If I could give Dr. Parks 100 “stars,” I would!! I had a butcher job by another surgeon. I went to 5 plastic surgeons, one a Mayo Clinic plastic surgeon, to ask about taking the implants out. I had been given unwanted, unrequested size G breast implants. The 5 plastic surgeons said that the massive implants he gave me would leave me with “sock-like” breasts ...
