Q: How much bruising can I expect after liposuction?
A: You can expect to have bruises present immediately following liposuction that will usually resolve in 2-3 weeks. The severity of bruising will vary patient to patient but may be reduced by taking an over the counter supplement, called Arnica, before surgery. Our office provides this supplement complimentary to our liposuction patients.
