The rare complications of BOTOX® include nausea and other flu-like symptoms. These complications and others are more likely to occur when BOTOX® is improperly injected. Finding a qualified plastic surgeon or other healthcare professional experienced in these injections is critical to the safety of BOTOX®. Unqualified persons advertising the cosmetic injectable at discounted rates could be selling products that are not actually BOTOX® brand, and therefore unregulated by the FDA.
