We are asked many times from patients, “what is the best age for a facelift?”. Basically, there is no perfect age for someone to have a facelift. Facial aging starts in the mid 30’s and gets progressively worse. Some studies show that patients with minimal signs of facial aging will achieve better results and be more satisfied with their results compared to patients with a significant amount of facial again.

We recommend you start considering facial rejuvenation options earlier rather than later. The most common age range for facelifts is between 40-60 years old. Rather than age, the amount of facial aging you have will depend on the result that you will be able to achieve. Factors that will affect your outcome of a face lift are the quality of your skin, the amount of wrinkles you have, damage from the sun, and any sagging skin in the face and jowls.

When you have your facelift consultation, your physician will examine your face and recommend the best treatment plan for you to get desirable realistic results.
