Q: Will I bruise with KYBELLA® injections?
A: KYBELLA® is injected with a needle, so there is always a risk of bruising with any injections. Bruising is usually minimal if it occurs and can be covered up with make-up. Your risk of bruising may be minimized by taking over the counter Arnica and may also aid in reducing the swelling. If medically feasible, also avoid any NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) or any other blood thinning medications as it may increase your risk of bruising.
