Q: Will I be swollen after liposuction surgery and how long will it last?

A: Yes, you will have swelling following liposuction surgery. During the surgery, we inject a numbing solution which also contributes to the normal swelling following this type of surgery. The swelling will substantially decrease within the first month following surgery and may not 100% resolve until ~3 months from surgery.
