A: There may be some mild dimpling immediately following liposuction surgery, as the skin in under pressure from swelling. Long term dimpling of the skin is rare but can form from excessive liposuction or liposuction too close to the skin surface; just another reason only to undergo liposuction from a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon.
